I particularly liked the idea that the meetings with the advisory board should be fun. A little while ago I met an entrepreneur who told me that he didn't have an advisory board but that he constantly talked to different people and tried new ideas on them. He paid for your time by buying you a dinner. A very enjoyable experience and stimulating from an intellectual and creative viewpoint as well.
